You imagine having gorgeous portraits of your family in your home, but figuring out how to make it happen is daunting. You want someone to come alongside you, take care of all the details, and help make sure this isn’t just another stressful session where you only wind up with more digital files and no idea what to do with them.

MY APPROACH
The perfect photo isn't everyone looking at the camera with forced smiles, it’s in a tangle of arms and giggles; in the joyful messiness of real life and love.
Inspired by the simple sweetness of the everyday, I combine lifestyle and classic portraiture to tell the story of who you all are – right now – with a beautiful true-to-life aesthetic.
To put you at ease and document your family in the most honest way, I let my sessions flow organically, always being led by the people in front of my camera.
I have a very fun and laidback personality, so my sessions are playful experiences. Being a mother, too, I know how important it is to be patient and calm as a newborn is fed and comforted, or as a toddler slowly sheds her camera shyness. Occasionally, I may give some gentle direction to make sure everyone is in the best light, but I am mainly an observer capturing memories as they unfold.

I was a little nervous about the photo session because I was just 10 days postpartum and we have a toddler, but Nicole did a great job with our family (and dogs!). We LOVE having these special memories!
